Sundarbans National Park is located in West Bengal, India. It is a great place to visit for it is also a tiger reserve, world heritage site and a biosphere reserve. Sundarbans National Park is a tiger reserve, national park and UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as a biosphere reserve. It is located within the Sundarbans delta of the West Bengal state in India. Mangrove forests densely cover the area.

In addition, this national park is considered as one of the biggest reserves of the Bengali Tiger. Moreover, the park is also the home of a large variety of reptiles, birds and invertebrate species like the salt-water crocodiles. Sundarbans National Park is one of the last tiger reserves in Bengal. It covers about 10,000 kilometers in the Ganges delta. The park became a tiger reserve in 1973, a wildlife sanctuary in 1977 and a national park in 1984. UNESCO included it as a world heritage in 1987. The name Sundarbans means a beautiful jungle in the Bengali language. It is also derived from Sundari trees found inside the park. Geography of Sundarbans National Park Sundarbans is located at South 24 in Aprgand District of Bengal. It lies at 30° 24′ – 30° 28′ north longitude and 77° 40′ – 77° 44′ east latitude.

The park has an altitude of 7.5 meters above sea level. It has 54 small islands on the boundaries of Ganga. The park is also known as the largest mangrove forest in the world. Vegetation includes mangrove scrub, forests, wet and rich grassland. The region has fresh and saltwater rivers from the Ganges and saline water at Bengal Bay. Coastal evolution includes estuaries, beaches, swamps, tidal creeks, back dunes, levees and coastal dunes. The park has also seven rivers that heads towards the sea. The tidal deposits form creeks and new islands.

Pench National Park is the 19th Tiger Reserve in India and obtains pride in the park’s tigers and other wildlife. There are lots of rare species of grasses and herbs in this area and very abundant in fauna. About Pench National Park Pench National Park is situated on the boundary of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh in the regions of Chindwara and Seoni. It is found between 21°40′ latitude in the north and 79°15′ longitude in the east.

It is joined with an all conditioned metal road system to further places of significance in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. It has been recognized through the years for its prosperous flora and fauna. Several writers like A.A.D. Brander, Captain Forsyth, Rudyard Kipling and R.A. Strendale have all talked about Pench in their manuscripts as the place with rich and beautiful flora and fauna. Pench was acknowledged as a wildlife sanctuary in 1983. It is named such because of the river that streams in close proximity. At the moment, the attraction is the 19th Tiger Reserve in the India and obtains pride in the park’s tigers and other wildlife. The core area of the National Park is 299 sq km and the buffer area is 464 km that is arrived from the entire area of the Pench Tiger Reserve which is around 758 km.

Tadoba National Park is a protected reserve forest that provides guests with an exciting trip. She is the pride of Maharashtra. Aside from the fascinating places, the culinary scene in the region is also very promising. Tadoba National Park is also considered a “jewel of Vidharba”. Lush green valleys, snow capped mountains, beautiful springs and friendly people make the enchanting Hunza valley a perfect spot for tourists and nature lovers. Hunza valley is located in the north of Pakistan at an elevation of 2,438 meters (7,999 feet). The local languages spoken here are Burushaski, Wakhi and Shina, while many people understand Urdu (National language of Pakistan). Most of the people are Muslims. The capital of Hunza is Karimabad.

In the past Hunza was a princely state near Nagar. This state continued to survive for about 900 years till 1974, when Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto finally dissolved it. About 200 years after the introduction of Islam in the area, the first Muslim ruler Mayroo Khan (Given the title of Thum) married, and twin sons were born. His sons were always hostile towards each other and Mayroo Khan had to break up his empire into two parts (Nagar and Hunza), when the question of succession arose. The British conquered the valley at some time between 1889 to 1892.
